DIY Mini Greenhouse

News? Maybe not for those of you following us on Facebook or Instagram, so this is for the rest of you:

Our new mini greenhouse made of old and left-over materials found on the property turned out great! There is plenty of space for seedlings and even some full grown plants. And still it doesn’t look enormous next to the “mobile loft” (our tiny house) as the materials blend in with the surroundings.

For now we have had tomato, basil, yellow zucchini, cucumber, watermelon, thyme, sweet pepper, pineapple sage, marigold and beetroot seedlings growing in it, yay!

Some of the seedlings come from Le Jardin d’Emerveille in Vaour that we visited last year. It’s a pedagogic and experimental organic nursery and market garden, based on biodiversity and permaculture. In other words; right up our alley! We got their seedling from their stand at the annual gardening market in Saint Antonin Noble Val. Have a look at Coté Noble Val’s website to see stunning photos from the day (taken by “Kathy”)!
