Home, sweet home for a few weeks!
The living room, dining room and office space.
I yam what I yam, and that’s all I am! And I love spinach! Who am I?
View towards Fuengirola.
Doing laundry in public.
Watching laundry dry.
Classy guy on a boat.
Even the rain felt good in Spain…

“There is no such thing as waste”
Our home number two while in Benalmádena. Dad’s friend Karim kindly let us live on his boat for free while he was home in UK (dad has previously done some work on the boat).
Fitting name for a boat like this: “Happy Days”.
Some vacuum cleaning isn’t the worst to do for work exchange! Far better than the place we tried first, an organic fruit farm/retreat to be, that so far didn’t have a toilet…
A small and quite functional kitchen to make lots of yummy veggie food.
As in France, it’s not so easy to find vegan options when eating out while in Spain, so we had most of our meals “at home” (also nice for our budget). Good thing there are plenty of quality fruits, veggies, nuts and seeds to be found.
Age of Plastic.
After this we’ve switched to using thin fabric bags for shopping groceries.
One of the chefs in action!
Perfectly sized bathroom.
King sized bed! And no sofa, it was buried underneath. Good priority.
The office desk.
Dining room / office / drawing space.
Daily breakfast routine: Fruit salad with soy yoghurt, seeds and nuts.
“Our” street.
Little did the passing tourists with a dream of “one day” affording to live on a boat know that we were merely a couple of penniless and happy artists giggling at how wonderful life can be 😀
Fishes! Skippers love them, they help to keep the boats clean.
Benalmádena puerto marina at evening time.
Another boat chef. Just enough space to stand on dad’s boat. For me that is, Jean got good training in bowing 😛
